Marion Weather: The Forecast Calls for Warmth, Melting Snow

I won't jinx it by mentioning Spring, but seriously guys it's going to get into the high 40s this week.

There's nothing saying it won't snow five more times in April, but at the very least the rest of this week is looking a lot better.

The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities forecasts temperatures progressively climbing throughout the week in Marion.

Weather Underground's 10-day forecast for Marion concurs, even predicting the temperatures staying in the 40s to 50s for highs into next week, with a chance of the year's first thunderstorm (if you don't count thundersnow) mid week. This week appears to be mostly free of precipitation, however.

Despite all the snow we've gotten lately, it doesn't look as if there is any chance of flooding at the present time according to NWS hydrology stations.

So all that is left to do is watch the snow melt. Melt snow, melt!
