Marion Woman Arrested 2 Times on 6 Charges in 24 Hours

Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

A Marion woman had a 24-hour stretch she'd probably like to forget.

Brittani Cole Heath, 27, of 2981-8 Ninth St. in Marion, was arrested twice in less than 24 hours, according to Marion Police.

The first arrest came at Nov. 16 at 2:28 a.m. at her home. Heath was booked for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly house and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A second person was arrested as part of the same incident.

Robert Michael Rooks, 36, who shares the same address at Heath, faces four charges of his own. Rooks was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly house and domestic assault with injury - serious.

Early the next morning, less than 24 hours later, Heath's woes continued.

Heath was arrested for drunken/drugged driving and excessive speed during an incident at 1:25 a.m. at Geode Street and Durango Drive.
