Marion Woman Arrested After Meth Lab is Discovered in Parked Car

A Marion woman was among three people arrested after Cedar Rapids police found three people operating an active meth lab out of a parked car.
Lee Hermiston of the Gazette reports that the three were found in a parked car on Mount Vernon Road.
According to criminal complaints, Cedar Rapids police officers were called to a parking lot at 2663 Mount Vernon Road SE for a report of people acting erratically. Police spoke with the three subjects and found all of them to be in possession of items used to manufacture meth.
Police also found an active meth lab in the car, according to court documents.
As a result, Alison Miller, 26, of Marion faces two counts of possession of precursors, one count of possession with intent to manufacture meth and one count of possession of meth.Â
