Woman Barred From Menards, Allegedly Later Steals $200 Worth of Merchandise

Brenda Toney, a 55-year-old from Marengo, was arrested last week after allegedly stealing $200 worth of merchandise from .
She reportedly had an accomplice, Margaret Mitchell.
Marion Police are say this wasn't Tony's first run-in at the hardware store.Â

She was barred from ever returning to Menards because of a previous offense, according to Marion Police. So when she returned and allegedly stole items with the help of Mitchell, 50, from Belle Plaine, Tony was not only charged with fourth-degree theft, but with criminal trespassing, as well.
Mitchell was charged with fourth-degree theft, a serious misdemeanor.
