Marion's SoTrue Salon Offers Wide Range of Services, A Friendly Environment, Kevin Murphy

SoTrue Salon & Spa, located at 143 Marion Blvd, has been open for since December 18, and Hutchins and Meyer say they are greatly appreciative of community support it has received since then.

"The way the word has spread about us has been great, not just through social media but also through word of mouth," Meyer said.

Hutchins said the pair serve a clientele that includes men and women from children to seniors, and it is their intention to keep customers coming back with the quality they provide each time they visit.

"We try to give our customers something new every time they come here," Hutchins said.

One other unique aspect of SoTrue is the line of products they use is created and named after famous hairstylist Kevin Murphy. The Kevin Murphy brand is an Australian line of professional hair and skin care products that is not widely available in the area, Meyer said, and this makes SoTrue distinct from other salons.

"Having Kevin Murphy here is a part of what makes us the salon that we are, and makes us the salon that we will become," she said.
