Missing Linn County Inmate Back Behind Bars
Kevin Gray turned himself in and was arrested after not returning from a work release.

A Linn County inmate is back behind bars after not returning from a court-ordered furlough on Thursday.
Authorities say Kevin Duane Gray, 48, was arrested in the Linn County Correctional Center lobby after turning himself in at 9:30 a.m. on Friday March 29. He was charged with escape after violating the conditions of his furlough.
Gray was released on March 26 on a 48-hour court-ordered furlough authorizing him to complete the process of returning to his seasonal employment. He failed to return at 8 a.m. on Thursday, March 28.

Gray was currently serving time on a 180-day sentence for driving while barred.
