Marion Woman Arrested at Iowa v. Nebraska Football

A Marion woman was arrested after she was reported "very drunk in the stands at Kinnick Stadium. She was among several people arrested during Iowa football gameday when Iowa played Nebraska in Iowa City on Friday.

A Marion woman was among a handful of arrests connected with the Iowa versus Nebraska football game on Friday in Iowa City.

Carrie Lynn Parke, 33, of Marion, was nabbed for public intoxication at Kinnick Stadium at 12:55 p.m. on Friday. Parke was reported as being very drunk in the stands, according to police.

Parke admitted drinking and had unstable balance while standing. Parke blew a .147 in an alcohol breath test.

In the main show, Nebraska defeated Iowa 13-7 in Iowa's final game of the season.

The following individuals were arrested during football game day operations:

McComb, Eric Paul, 28, of Council Bluffs, IA for Public Intox at Kinnick Stadium at 1024 hours. McComb staggered as he walked. McComb had slurred speech as he spoke with officers. McComb admitted drinking shots all morning. McComb blew .410 PBT.

Thiel, Mitchell James, 36, of Omaha, NE for Public Intox at Kinnick Stadium at 1058 hours. Officers observed Thiel walk through the gate and almost fell down. Thiel said he had been drinking since 10:00 am and did not almost fall over. Thiel had slurred speech. Thiel blew .198 PBT.

Richards, Janine Lynn, 40, of Urbandale, IA for Public Intox at Kinnick Stadium at 1114 hours. Richards staggered as she walked. Richards had a strong odor of alcoholic beverage on her breath. Richards speech was slurred and stuttered. Richards refused PBT.

Davis, Ryan Charles, 36, of Norwalk, IA for Public Intox at Kinnick Stadium at 1123 hours. Davis was told to stay away from the DPS holding cell. Davis was swaying and had slurred speech. Davis admitted drinking. Davis refused PBT.

Moyers, Lucas Benjamin, 22, of Muscatine, IA for Public Intox at Kinnick Stadium at 1118 hours. Moyers came into gate M staggering. Moyers was stopped by Whalen Security and they asked for assistance. Moyers had slurred speech and smelled of an alcoholic beverage and admitted drinking. Moyers refused PBT.

Lahey, Brian James, 30, of Cedar Rapids, IA for Public Intox at Kinnick Stadium at 1136 hours.  Lahey was stumbling while walking. Lahey smelled strongly of ingested alcohol. Lahey had slurred speech. Lahey blew .202 PBT.

Dayton, John Carl, 30, of West Des Moines, IA for Public Intox at Kinnick Stadium at 1205 hours. Fans reported Dayton was being verbally abusive to fans. Dayton smelled strongly of ingested alcohol and had slurred speech. Dayton admitted to drinking. Dayton blew .114 PBT.

Parke, Carrie Lynn, 33, of Marion, IA for Public Intox at Kinnick Stadium at 1255 hours. Parke was reported as being very drunk in the stands. Parke admitted drinking and had unstable balance while standing. Parke blew .147 PBT.

Cooney, William David, 20, of Iowa City, IA for Public Intox at Kinnick Stadium at 1236 hours. Officer noticed Cooney stumbling near gate B as he entered the stadium. Cooney stated he drank 4 Stella beers before coming to the game.  Cooney admitted to smoking marijuana last night. Cooney blew .08 PBT.

Geilenkirchen, Cody J, 22, of Omaha, NE for Public Intox at Kinnick Stadium at 1307 hours. Geilenkirchen was being held up by two males. Geilenkirchen had slurred speech, unsteady balance and smelled of ingested alcohol. Geilenkirchen refused PBT.

Meyer, Shane Allen, 41, of Walford, IA for Public Intox at Kinnick Stadium at 1252 hours. Meyer was reported as being “very drunk” in the stands. Meyer had difficulty getting out of his seat, and was swaying against the wall while standing. Meyer was asked how drunk he felt on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the worst; Meyer said a “6”. Meyer refused PBT.

Bachman, Tyler Hutchinson, 25, of West Des Moines, IA for Public Intox at Kinnick Stadium at 1245 hours. Bachman was found sitting in the wrong seat by a security guard. Bachman refused to answer questions asked by officers.  Bachman had watery, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Bachman admitted drinking 5 beers and a shot earlier. Bachman had one can of Coors Light in his jacket. Bachman refused PBT.

Lehenbauer, Mark Harold, 57, of Davenport, IA for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia at Kinnick Stadium at 1247 hours. Lehenbauer was smoking on university property. Lehenbauer had in his possession green leafy substance. Lehenbauer told the officer it was marijuana. Lehenbauer also had a one-hitter in his possession.

Hutchinson, Chad Michael, 41 , of West Des Moines, IA for Public Intox at Kinnick Stadium at 1220 hours. Hutchinson was staggering from side to side as he walked.  Hutchinson stated he was walking around to sober up and wanted a chew. Hutchinson blew .170 PBT.

Honn, Joe Angelo, 42, of Ely, IA for Public Intox at Lot 43 at 1421 hours. Honn was staggering through the lot giving everyone around him “the finger.” Honn had slurred speech and an odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath. Honn blew .150 PBT.
