Police Release Criminal Complaint Against Man Accused of Using Crowbar to Kill His Mother
Edward Cusic, 44, is accused of killing his mother Anita Lobken, 68, on Friday night. They shared a residence in northeast Cedar Rapids, just down the road from Marion.
Cedar Rapids Police took Edward Cusic, 44, into custody at the scene on Friday night and charged with him with first-degree murder in the death of Anita Jean Labkon, 68, of Cedar Rapids.
He is being held on $1 million bond.
Several media outlets report that Labkon is Cusic's mother.
