Police: Pot Found on Teen After Stealing Video Games From Marion Walmart
The following information was provided by the Marion Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Three teenagers were caught shoplifting video games at last week Monday.
According to Marion Police Chief Harry Daugherty, after the teens escaped the store, the Marion Police Department was contacted. One of the teens stayed in the store and admitted to the crime.
The other two teens were waiting inside a truck in the parking lot, and when Marion police searched later searched the group, one was found to be carrying marijuana and a pipe.

Two of the teens, a 16-year-old Alburnett boy and a 15-year-old Marion boy, were charged with fifth degree theft. The last teen, a 16-year-old Alburnett boy, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Fifth degree theft and possession of drug paraphernalia is a is a simple misdemeanor, while possession of a schedule five controlled substance is an aggravated misdemeanor.
