All Power Restored in Marion

While we wait for the weather-related disaster to hit us, it seems at least we're over the hump from last week when a carried high winds and tree limbs all over our city.

Alliant Energy spokesperson Scott Drzycimski said power has been restored to all of Marion. The storm had knocked out power for thousands of area residents.

That's good, because everyone's going to to power their air conditioning units non-stop for the next week, as our daily high temperatures won't dip down below 90 degrees.
