Put on Your Skates: Ice Skating is Open at Thomas Park in Marion

It's winter. It's Iowa. It's cold.

But, that's no excuse to spend the next few months indoors.

Get outside and have some fun.

Grab those skates, throw on some long johns, a scarf and mittens, and head out to the ice skating rink.

Marion city officials announced that the ice rink in Thomas Park is now open (cold weather-permitting). Hours are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., which gives skaters 30 minutes to leave before the park closes at 10:30 p.m.
