Quaker Oats Employees Quietly Share $241M Jackpot Amongst Themselves

Twenty Quaker Oats employees pooled together their money to buy lottery tickets, now that they've won, they are splitting the winnings evenly between themselves.

How does it feel to win the lottery?

In an unprecedented turn, 20 Quaker Oats shipping employees won the $241 million jackpot, have refused to be named to avoid the stigma of lotto winners who have lost it all and quite orderly, and quite evenly, split the winnings amongst themselves.

They have been pooling their money together for the last 10 or so years, according to the Gazette. This time, the winning ticket came from one of 100 tickets bought at the Hy-Vee at 5050 Edgewood Road.

No word from lady luck as to whether the Marion is now "hot," or if all Hy-Vees are now cursed.
