Robins Man Partially Ejected, Trapped After Vehicle Rollover
Marion fire department and Linn County Sheriff's were among several emergency responders to a car crash on at about 2:45 p.m. on Monday. Joshua S. Burdette was transported to the hospital.

A Robins man was sent to the hospital after losing control of his vehicle, which then rolled over, on Monday afternoon.Â
Authorities found Joshua S. Burdette, 40, of Robins, partially ejected from his pickup and trapped at the scene to the east of 1660 East Knoll Drive at around 1:43 p.m. His vehicle had rolled over on to its top.
After being extricated, Burdette was transported to the hospital with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries, according to a news release from the Linn County Sheriff's Department.

Burdette had been heading eastbound on East Knoll Drive. Authorities found the vehicle on the north side of the roadway.
Burdette was the only person in the vehicle in the single-vehicle crash.

Linn County Deputies and Linn County Rescue 57 along with the Iowa State Highway Patrol, Hiawatha Police Department, Robins and Marion Fire Departments and Area Ambulance Service responded to the crash.Â
The accident remains under investigation by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office.
