Several Flight Departures and Arrivals Delayed or Canceled at Eastern Iowa Airport Including Delta, United and American Airlines

Numerous flight departures and arrivals are either cancelled or delayed.

Craig Hansen the public works maintenance manager for Cedar Rapids said road conditions to and from the airport are poor.

The combination of heavy snow and wind is causing poor visibility including white out conditions in the outer areas of the city such as near the Eastern Iowa Airport.  Drivers should turn on head lights and slow.
