Shoplifting for Christmas? Police Seek Suspects in Kohl's Stolen Jewlery Case

Cedar Rapids Police say two men were involved in a theft at Kohl's in November and are asking for the public's help in identifying them.

If captured, two men could spend the holidays in Linn County Jail after authorities say one stole $4,000 in jewelry from a local department store.

Cedar Rapids Police are asking for the public's help in identifying two suspects they say were involved in stealing jewelry from Kohl's department store in northeast Cedar Rapids in November.

Police say on November 29 at 9:42 pm, two men entered Kohl’s at 361 Collins Road NE and approached the jewelry counter. One of the men left and went to a vehicle in the parking lot, while the second man stayed at the counter and took jewelry valued at $4,000. The other subject left the store just prior to the theft.

The suspect that was wearing the gray sweatshirt took the jewelry. It is unknown how the subjects left the parking lot. Photos are attached to the article.
