Should Marion Expect Thunderstorms, Hail and Heavy Rain Tonight?

It's been uncomfortably hot the last few days. Highs in the 90s have left me turning my air conditioning on high and making frequent trips to the freezer, where I'll rest my head temporarily.

Today and tonight, though, it might get uncomfortably wet.

The National Weather Service is calling for a hazardous weather outlook; a high chance thunderstorms this afternoon and tonight.

There's also a chance for the thunderstorms to be severe.

Should the severe storm materialize, the weather service warns that we could be seeing large hail, damaging winds and lighting.
