But maybe you're looking for some cool stuff to do on the epic day — seeing as how it's a national holiday and all. So, We've provided you a schedule, starting the morning of the fourth, that should provide you with a fun-filled day.

Noon KCRG-TV9's Kid Parade

Kids are invited to parade and join KCRG-TV9 — you can gather at Third Street Southeast close to the chrome horse. The parade starts at the beginning line of the 5 Seasons race.

1 P.M. Fourth of July Funtivities

The City of Cedar Rapids and a few sponsors are putting on some fun events for families in downtown Cedar Rapids. It runs from 1 p.m. to just past 8 p.m. and features games and Arch Allies, a tribute band to Styx, Journey and REO Speedwagon.

10 P.M. Fireworks
