Marion Police say 50-year-old Jeffrey Wooten's neighbors reported him after he allegedly peed off his balcony.

It seems strange that a police blotter would show that a man is accused of public urination at his listed home address.
But, after speaking with , it's not as unbelievable as I originally thought.
Police allege that 50-year-old Jeffrey Wooten's neighbors reported him after he allegedly peed off of his porch. When police arrived on the scene, he was inside his house and, police say, was allegedly very drunk.Â

Since police say he was found in his home, and not in public, he could not be charged with public intoxication.
Public urination is a misdemeanor.

Jeffrey Wooten was arrested by Marion Police for public urination — at his own home.
According to  records, the 50-year-old Marion resident was arrested June 11 at 10:57 p.m. at 500 Bentley Drive.
Public urination is a misdemeanor.
