Was Your Mailbox Vandalized in the Last Few Days? Notify Marion Police

Marion Police are seeking information after being notified of several people's mailboxes damaged in the past several days.

Marion police took one report of damage estimated at $50, and are aware of at least eight others, in which the owners preferred not to file a report, Marion Police Lt. Scott Elam said.

The damage occurred between Friday night and Tuesday morning in an area south of 29th Ave. and east of 35th St.

Police have no suspects at this time, but anyone with information is encouraged to call the Marion P.D. or Linn County Crime Stoppers (1-800-CS-CRIME).
