What Time is the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Cedar Rapids?
We've got you covered: don't worry, it's not today it's tomorrow. You know, St. Patrick's Day.

Note: I saw the Marion Rotary Club was going to have a float in the parade. Are there any other Marion entries? Please let me know in the comments below. Thanks! ~ Stephen
Get out your green clothing, and wear those green shamrock necklaces (don't worry, if you have none they will be provided), as the St. Patrick's Day Parade kicks off at 1:00 p.m. tomorrow in downtown Cedar Rapids.
It should be a lively event, as the parade has been declared full with over 100 entries according to the parade website.

Never been? Here is a little more on the parade from the website.
There are also several memorial awards, honoring deceased members of SaPaDaPaSo. Family members of these individuals help select the recipients of these memorial awards which are "floating trophies" that the winner has for a year. The judges are sequestered immediately following the parade while they make their final decisions. It is said that these "discussions" have often been lively conversations.

The After parade celebration begins immediately following the close of the parade. This after parade party is held at a local establishment in the downtown area. It has been held in the past at The Roosevelt Hotel, The Emerald Knight's Bingo Hall, The Armstrong's building, and more recently at
Third Street Live. This is a boisterous celebration, a "Sea of Green" activity.
The club also sponsors annual "Irish Hooley" each year in March shortly before the parade. The Hooley is the club's major fund raiser for the year. It is also a very festive celebration of music, song and dance.
It will also be televised on KCRG and KCRG 9.2. The link goes to KCRG's Facebook event for the parade which includes photos of past parades.
If you can't be there in person, watch the Cedar Rapids St. Patrick's Day Parade LIVE on KCRG 9.2 & KCRG.com. Join hosts Joe Winters and Nicole Agee starting at 1 p.m.
And if you're downtown, make sure to say hello to the KCRG-TV9 News crew that will be walking in the parade.
