Wind, Thunderstorm Advisories Announced for Marion

According to the National Weather Service, we'll be seeing some strong winds and the possibility of multiple thunderstorms throughout the week.

This week might not be so pretty.

Today I am already having trouble getting around without feeling like the wind will lift me up as effortlessly as Dorthy's house, but apparently this isn't the end of it.

The National Weather Service has announced a wind advisory and a hazardous weather outlook advisory that will last us to Sunday.

According to the wind advisory, we'll be seeing gusts of wind of speeds that reach 40 miles per hour this afternoon.

We'll be facing a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms both tomorrow night and Wednesday in addition to a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms on Thursday.

Beyond that, highs this week should vary from the lower 60s and 50s, with lows that hover around the lower to mid 40s.
