A Couple Rear End Accidents, Theft and Criminal Mischief Last Week in Waukee

Waukee Police responded to several calls last week including a couple rear end accidents and reports of theft, burglary and criminal mischief.

March 26

Roberta Martindale of Waukee reported criminal to the condominium clubhouse in the 1300 block of Southeast University Avenue.

March 27

Kelly Warthan of Waukee reported criminal mischief to a business in the 500 block of Walnut Stree.

A vehicle driven by Skylar Geary of Waukee was struck by a vehicle driven by Hillary Stewart of Patterson. Vehicle damage was estimated at $3,000. Stewart was cited for failure to stop in assured clear distance.

March 28

Matthew Pease of Waukee reported a theft in the 100 block of Southeast Windfield Parkway.

Derek Hofman of Waukee struck a deer in the 2400 block of Southeast LA Grant Parkway. Vehicle damage was estimated at $1,500.

March 29

A school bus driven by Robert Fouts of Des Moines was struck by a vehicle driven by Andrew Smith of Clive. Vehicle damage was estimated at $5,800. Smith was cited for failure to stop in assured clear distance.

Richard Staudt of Waukee reported a burglary to a storage facility in the 3300 block of Ute Avenue.
