Waukee Patch is all about you. That’s why we’ve been encouraging you to upload photos, submit your views on stories, suggest coverage and share a bit about yourselves, what you do and what’s going on around you.

Everyday people, like , who oversees youth sports programming at the Waukee YMCA, are taking full advantage of the opportunity by blogging on Waukee Patch. He’ll blog about what’s going on with programming at the Y and share stories of how helping kids helps you -- and the whole community.

Volunteer coaches and parents will also be able to upload their pictures and comment on their experiences from the weekend activities.
