1) On Sunday, editor Deb Belt wrote about some of the best last minute gifts you could pick up in Waukee for your sweetheart on Valentine's Day including a bottle of wine straight from Schade Creek Vineyard & Winery in Waukee.
2) Monday in Parents Talk, we wrote about a North Carolina father who used social media to get back at his daughter for something she posted on Facebook. The topic proved to be a hot one with several comments posted.
3) Tuesday in an Editor's Notebook, I gave you 14 reasons why I love Waukee.

4) Wednesday, we told you about the untimely eviction of two cats from the Earl May Nursery and Garden Center in Waukee. Bear and Tigger were banned by a corporate policy that forbids stores from housing pets.
5) Thursday we gave you a peek at Jason Clark, the senior wrestler from Waukee High School, as he made his way to the 2012 Iowa State High School Wrestling tournament at Wells Fargo Arena. Clark fell in the first round in a 5-3 decision.
