"Beauty and the Beast," a Zumbathon and Spaghetti Fundraiser This Weekend in Waukee
Here's everything you need to know this weekend, April 13-15, and some other stuff, too.

Friday & Saturday: Waukee Theatre Arts Presents Disney's "Beauty and the Beast"
Get your tickets for one of the three performances of the Waukee Theatre Arts production of Disney's "Beauty and the Beast," Friday and Saturday at the auditorium.
Show times are as follows: Friday at 7 p.m., and Saturday at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Tickets are $8 for students and $12 for adults at the door or $7 for students and $11 for adults when purchased in advance at http://www.seatyourself.biz/waukeetheatrearts.
Saturday: Friends of the Waukee Public Library Book and Bake Sale

Shop for great books and yummy baked goods! The Friends' semi-annual book and bake sale will be held on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the meeting room of the .
The Friends use book sale profits for the purchase of new library books and movies, and to support the summer reading program.
Tax-deductible book sale donations may be dropped off at your Waukee Public Library all year round during regular open hours. Please, no textbooks or encyclopedias.
Saturday: Zumbathon at the Waukee Family YMCA
The will be hosting a Zumbathon® Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. to raise money to build a handicap accessible playground to add on to the Child Watch. The event fee is $10 in advance. Child care is being offered, but registration for child care does require advance registration. Sunday: Waukee Area Historical Society "Alice's Spaghetti Land Night"
The Waukee Area Historical Society is hosting an “Alice’s Spaghetti Land Night” fundraiser from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at .
Jim Nizzi will prepare a spaghetti dinner from Alice’s Spaghetti Land. Italian Villages of Adel will prepare chicken alfredo, garden salads, garlic bread and triple chocolate brownies. Drinks will be provided.
The cost for members of the Waukee Area Historical Society is $12 for adults and $5 for children. For non-members, the cost is $15 for adults and $6 for children. Walk-ins are welcome.
