Feuding Friends Leads to Report of Burglary in Waukee
Waukee Police responded to a report of burglary to a residence on April 10 that turned out to be a spat among friends.

On the morning of April 10, Walter Leimer of Clive reported a burglary to a residence in the 700 block of Collins Drive, in Waukee.
Leimer owns the Collins Drive home where his daughter Britney Leimer, 23, resides. The report says someone had broken into the residence but nothing was taken.
Two arrests were made in the case. Richard Applegate, 42, of Waukee and Rocky Matherly, 31, also of Waukee were both arrested and charged with burglary (first degree.)

Police say the two men were acquaintances of Leimer's daughter and were not getting along at the time of the alleged incident.
In a matter unrelated to the burglary, Britney Leimer was arrested on April 16 and charged with theft (fifth degree) and interference with official acts.

Leimer was reportedly arrested for not paying a taxi driver then trying to evade a police officer who was attempting to get her to pay the driver for the fare.
This was not Britney Leimer's first brush with the law. On .
