Waukee Area Christian Services food pantry is open today from 9-11 a.m. offering non-perishable food and personal items for those living in the Waukee School District or those with approval from local churches. The food pantry is located in the lower level of .

The is hosting two fun family activities today. Toddlertime is for ages 18 month to 3 years and is offered at 9:45 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Toddlers and caregivers will enjoy songs, finger-plays, and read-aloud stories, followed by playtime.
Pajama Time family storytime will be held tonight at 6:45 p.m. It's open to the entire family.

3) Park Board Meeting Tonight
The Waukee Park Board will meet tonight at 6 p.m. at City Hall. The next meeting of the Park Board will be Thursday, Dec. 1
4) Eighth Grade Wrestling vs. Ankeny/Urbandale
Come cheer on your Waukee eighth grade wrestlers today at 4:30 p.m. at . The Warrior matmen will take on Ankeny and Urbandale Middle Schools in a triangular meet.
5) Citizen Committee Volunteers Needed
The City of Waukee is taking applications for vacancies on all appointed boards, commissions and committees. This application process is in an effort to ensure diversity and representation of our community. Completed applications should be submitted to City Hall by 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov.18 for Park Board and Friday, Dec. 2 for all other boards of interest. All applicants must be Waukee residents at least 18 years of age. These are uncompensated positions. All applications are subject to the open record laws of the State of Iowa.
