2) Activities at the Waukee Public Library

Looking for something to do today? Why not check out some of the activities at the ? The Playful Preschoolers class, for children ages 3 to 6, includes read-aloud stories, songs and rhymes followed by a craft. It's offered at 10 a.m. and again at 2 p.m. today.

Dewey Discoveries: Animal Appeal, presented by Dallas County Conservation, will show kids what crazy antics animals use to attract friends. The class meets at 4:30 p.m.

3) Waukee Basketball

Come out and support your Waukee basketball teams today.

The South Middle School 8th grade boys basketball team will take on Indian Hills Junior High School at Indian Hills at 4:45 p.m.

The Waukee 9th grade boys, 10th grade boys and varsity boys basketball teams will play Des Moines Roosevelt High School at Des Moines Roosevelt today. The 9th grade game is at 4:45 p.m., the 10th grade game is at 6:15 p.m. and the varsity came follows at 7:45 p.m.

4) Waukee Planning & Zoning Commission Meeting

The Waukee Planning & Zoning Commission will meet tonight at 6 p.m. in the Waukee City Hall Council Chambers. The next meeting of the commission will be held Feb. 28.
