Five Things in Waukee: Library Activities, "Pursuit," Citizen Nominations and a Chamber Luncheon

1) Activities at the Waukee Public Library

Looking for something fun to do with the kids today? Check out Playful Preschoolers at 10 a.m. at the . Playful Preschoolers is for children ages 3 to 6. It includes read-aloud stories, songs and rhymes followed by a craft.

Babies and Books also meets at 10 a.m. It's for pre-walkers (babies approximately birth to 18 mos.) with a caregiver. There will be songs, books and rhymes. Only one child per caregiver is recommended.

There will also be an Un-Valentine's Day celebrations for teens today at 3:30 p.m.

2) "Pursuit" by Life Changers Counseling

is offering an eight week study session called "Pursuit: See as God Sees and Love as God Loves" beginning tonight at 6:30 p.m. The class has three sections: seeing God as He is, seeing ourselves as God sees us and seeing others as God sees them.

3) Register for Thursday's Waukee Chamber Networking Luncheon

Register today for the Waukee Chamber of Commerce's Networking Luncheon Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Village at Legacy Pointe. The luncheon will be sponsored by Waukee Patch. 4) Citizen of the Year Nominations
