1) Rotary and Chamber Ambassador Meetings

Interested in joining the Rotary Club? The group will meet first thing this morning at 6:45 a.m. at the Des Moines Golf & Country Club in West Des Moines.

Interested in becoming a Ambassador? The Ambassadors volunteer at Chamber functions, help organize events, visit member and prospective member businesses and help connect current members.  Come to  the January Ambassador meeting today at 12 p.m. in the Waukee City Hall Board Room to learn more. 2) Waukee Area Food Pantry Services

Food Pantry is open today from 9-11 a.m. offering non-perishable food and personal items for those living in the Waukee School District or those with approval from local churches. The food pantry is located in the lower level of .

3) Activities at the Waukee Public Library

Looking for something fun to do for the kids today? Why not take a class at the ? Time for Twos is for toddlers 2-3 years-old. Children and caregivers will enjoy songs, finger plays, and read-aloud stories, followed by playtime. Time for Twos meets at 11 a.m.

Pajama Time family story time will be held tonight at 6:45 p.m. It's open to the entire family.

4) Waukee Sports

There's a lot going on in Waukee athletics today. Come out and support your Warrior sports teams. Here's what's happening:

The Waukee boys JV, varsity and girls JV and varsity bowlers will face West Des Moines Valley at today at 3:30 p.m.

Waukee Middle School 8th grade boys basketball vs. Fort Dodge at Fort Dodge-Phillips Middle School at 4:30 p.m.

Waukee South Middle School 8th grade boys basketball vs. Dallas Center-Grimes at l at 4:30 p.m.

The Waukee JV and varsity boys swim team meets West Des Moines Valley at Valley High School today at 5 p.m.

Waukee JV and varsity wrestling vs. Ames High School at Ames High School. The JV squad wrestles at 6:30 p.m. The varsity wrestlers take to the mat at 7:30 p.m.

The Waukee boys JV basketball team plays Des Moines North at North High School at 7 p.m.
