The Waukee Area Christian Services food pantry is open today from 9-11 a.m. offering non-perishable food and personal items for those living in the Waukee School District or those with approval from local churches. The food pantry is located in the lower level of .

Looking for something fun to do with the kids today? Why not take a class at the ? Time for Twos is for toddlers 2-3 years-old. Children and caregivers will enjoy songs, finger plays, and read-aloud stories, followed by playtime. Time for Twos meets at 11 a.m.

Tonight, author D.Mark Davis will read and sign copies of his latest book, Left Behind and Loving It: A Cheeky Look at the End Times at 6:30 p.m. Books will be available for purchase at the library.

Pajama Time family story time will be held tonight at 6:45 p.m. It's open to the entire family.

4) Waukee Sports

Come out and support Warrior athletics tonight.

The boys and girls, JV and varsity bowling teams will take on Mason City at Mystic Lanes in Mason City beginning at 3:30 p.m.

The South Middle School 8th grade boys basketball team faces Norwalk at Norwalk Middle School at 4:30 p.m.

Both the 9th grade girls and 9th grade boys basketball teams will face Ames today at Prairieview School. The girls play at 4:45 p.m. The boys at 6 p.m.

Also tonight, the Waukee JV and varsity wrestling squads will take on Fort Dodge at Fort Dodge High School at 6:30 p.m.

5) Today's Weather
