Waukee Area Christian Services food pantry is open today from 9-11 a.m. offering non-perishable food and personal items for those living in the Waukee School District or those with approval from local churches. The food pantry is located in the lower level of .

3) Activities at the Waukee Public Library

Looking for something fun to do for the kids today? Why not take a class at the ? Time for Twos is for toddlers 2-3 years-old. Children and caregivers will enjoy songs, finger plays, and read-aloud stories, followed by playtime. Time for Twos meets at 11 a.m.

Pajama Time family story time will be held tonight at 6:45 p.m. It's open to the entire family.

4) Waukee Sports

Come out and supports your favorite Waukee Warrior athletic teams.

The 8th grade basketball team will face Ankeny Centennial at Northview Middle School in Ankeny at 4:30 p.m.

The Waukee High School boys 9th grade basketball team plays West Des Moines Valley at at 4:45 p.m.

The Waukee High School JV wrestling squad will wrestle West Des Moines Valley at at 6:30 p.m. The varsity squad wrestles at 7:30 p.m.

The Waukee High School boys JV basketball vs. Southeast Polk High School game will be at 7 p.m. at Southeast Polk.

5) Shuler Elementary 4th Grade Fine Arts Night

The 4th grade Fine Arts Night will be held this evening beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Waukee High School auditorium. There is no charge to attend.
