Looking for something fun to do with the kids today? Why not take a class at the ? Time for Twos is for toddlers 2-3 years-old. Children and caregivers will enjoy songs, finger plays, and read-aloud stories, followed by playtime. Time for Twos meets at 11 a.m.
Pajama Time family story time will be held tonight at 6:45 p.m. It's open to the entire family.
4) Elementary School Valentine's Day Parties Today
All six elementary schools in the Waukee Community School District - , , , , and - will host their Valentine's Day parties today at 2:30 p.m.
For specific details regarding your child's party, what to bring and/or treat restrictions, you're asked to contact your child's teacher.
5) Waukee Sports
Come out and support your Warrior athletic teams today.
The boys and girls, JV and varsity Iowa CIML Conference Invitational Tournaments will be held today at Ridgewood Lanes in Fort Dodge beginning at 1 p.m. Teams competing in the invitational include Ames, Marshalltown, Fort Dodge, West Des Moines Valley and Mason City.
The boys and girls 9th grade basketball teams will face Marshalltown today at Prairieview School. The girls team plays at 4:45 p.m., the boys at 6:30 p.m.
The Waukee High School JV boys basketball games vs. Dallas Center-Grimes High School will be tonight at 7 p.m. at Northridge Elementary in Grimes.
