Five Things in Waukee: Toddlertime, Park Board Apps Due and a Yoga Class for a Cause
Here's everything you need to know today, Nov. 18, and some other stuff too.

1) Toddlertime at the Waukee Public Library
Toddlertime for ages 18 month to 3 years, will be held today at the Waukee Public Library at 9:45 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Toddlers and their caregivers will enjoy songs, finger plays, and read-aloud stories, followed by playtime.
2) Park Board Committee Applications Due Today

The is taking applications for vacancies on all appointed boards, commissions and committees. This application process is in an effort to ensure diversity and representation of our community. Completed applications for Waukee Park Board should be submitted to City Hall by 5 p.m. today. All applicants must be Waukee residents at least 18 years of age. These are uncompensated positions. All applications are subject to the open record laws of the State of Iowa. For an application, check out the City of Waukee's website.
3) Donation Yoga Class at Kris' Hot Yoga at Breathe Studio

Thinking about trying yoga? Bring a non-perishable food item or personal item to to donate to the Waukee Food Pantry and try out a class at the same time. The class begins at 6 p.m. and will be an ABBA-themed and inspired yoga class that will include treats afterwards.

5) Did You Know?
Did you know that a real Waukee celebrity will perform at l tomorrow? Waukee native Bonne Finken will perform tomorrow at 7 p.m. at ArtsCentral. Finken is part of the Waukee Area Arts Council's Home Grown Talent Concert Series. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children and are available calling (515) 402-7870, at the Waukee Hardware, or at the door the night of the performance, based on availability.
