Here's what's going on in Waukee today, Oct. 22, and some other stuff you might want to know.

1) YMCA Youth Sports

The Waukee Family YMCA has youth volleyball today at 8:30 a.m.at . Youth flag football is also today at 9 a.m. at the practice fields.

2) Indo-American Association of Iowa Cultural Event

The Indo-American Association of Iowa will hold Diwali Night 2011 in the Waukee High School Auditorium today beginning at 5 p.m. Social hour is from 5 to 6 p.m. with a cultural program beginning at 6 p.m.

3) Waukee Area Arts Council Presents Carol Montag

Carol Montag, a songwriter who accompanies herself on both guitar and piano, will play tonight at beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children and can be purchased at Waukee Hardware or at the door.

It's going to be the perfect fall weekend.Today, expect sunny skies with a high near 67. Tonight, mostly cloudy with a low of 46.
