1) Waukee Public Library Book & Bake Sale

The is holding a Book & Bake Sale today from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be books and music available for purchase, as well as a few homemade goodies.

Musician Rob Lumbard will perform tonight at 7 p.m. at . The performance is part of the Waukee Area Arts Council's Home Grown Talent Series. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children.

3) Urbandale Marching Band Invitational

The marching band will perform tonight at the Urbandale Marching Invitational at Urbandale High School, 7111 Aurora Ave.  Performance time is 8:45 p.m. with awards at 10:30 p.m.
