Five Things Waukee Residents Should Know: Homecoming, Health and a Free Clinic
Here's what's going on in Waukee today and some other stuff you might want to know.

1) The Homecoming Dance
The homecoming dance will be held in the gym tonight from 8 to 11 p.m. Cost is $10 per person and all attendees must be Waukee High School students in grades 10-12 or be guests of a student. No one under grade 10 will be admitted. The theme for this year’s dance is, “Winter Wonderland."
2) National Family Health DayÂ

Stop by today at 10 a.m. to help celebrate National Family Health Day. There will be free food, games, and healthy family activities for children and their parents.
3) The Truth Project at Point of Grace

Did you know there's a free clinic in Waukee? The Waukee Area Christian Free Clinic, in the basement of the , is open Mondays from 6 to 8 p.m. The clinic is first come, first served and provides the following: illness/injury care, well child exams, sports/school physicals, employment physicals, chronic disease management, diabetes - glucose testing, high blood pressure testing and patient assistance program enrollment.
