Five Things Waukee Residents Should Know: Playtime, a Play and Football Players
Here's what's going on in Waukee today, Sept. 30, and some other stuff you might want to know.

1) Toddlertime at the Library
Toddlertime for ages 18 month to 3 years, will be held today at the at 9:45 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Toddlers and their caregivers will enjoy songs, fingerplays, and read-aloud stories, followed by playtime.
2) "Sally Cotter and the Prisoner of Ala Katraz"

If you are a Harry Potter fan, go see the Waukee High School production of "Sally Cotter and the Prisoner of Ala Katraz," at the Theatre Arts Center on today at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Admission is $5.
3) Waukee Football vs. Marshalltown

The Waukee Warriors will face the Marshalltown Bobcats today in Marshalltown. The ninth-grade football team plays at 4:45 p.m. Varsity plays at 7:30 p.m.
4) The Weather
Grab a jacket. Today will feel like fall. Expect mostly sunny skies and cool with a high in the mid-60s. Tonight, mostly clear with a low near 41.
5) Did You Know?
Did you know you can show your Waukee Warrior pride on your driveway or sidewalk? The Waukee Vocal Music Boosters will come to your house and spray paint the famous purple "W" for $20 or $30 depending on size. All proceeds go to support vocal music in the Waukee Schools, K-12.
