1) Early Dismissmal
Don't forget! Today is early dismissal for all Waukee Schools. Elementary schools will dismiss today at 1:40 p.m. Secondary schools dismiss at 12:50 p.m.

Looking for some homegrown fruits and veggies or maybe a nice handmade gift? Look no further than the Waukee Farmers Market tonight from 4 to 7 p.m. on the Triangle in downtown Waukee.
3) Waukee Public Library Activities

The Waukee Public Library offers activities for people of all ages. Today, beginning at 10:15 a.m., there's a pre-walkers (birth to 18 mos.) activity that includes songs, books and rhymes. One child per caregiver, please.
Preschool storytime (ages 3-6) is also held at 10:15 a.m. today. Later this afternoon, the teen program participants will paint ceiling tiles beginning at 1:30 p.m.
4) Small Group Sign Up at Point of Grace
People interested in signing up for one of several small group discussion group can come to Point of Grace Church tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. The focus of these small groups is to gather and discuss the Bible and the issues of life. For more information, go to the Point of Grace website.
5) The Weather
Expect some big changes in the weather today. In fact, you might want to grab a jacket and an umbrella. There's a 20 percent chance of showers before 1 p.m. today, otherwise mostly cloudy with a high near 62. Tonight, patchy frost after 1 a.m. and mostly cloudy with a low of 37.
