1) Rotary Club Meeting

Interested in joining the Rotary Club? The group will meet this morning at 6:45 a.m. at the Des Moines Golf & Country Club in West Des Moines.

2) Waukee Chamber Networking Luncheon

The Waukee Chamber of Commerce is holding a networking luncheon today at The Village at Legacy Point, 1650 SE Holiday Crest Circle, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  The luncheon is sponsored by Medicap Pharmacy and catered by Philly's Finest. The speaker will be Dan Noack from Fareway speaking about the Healthiest State Initiative. Tickets are $15. You can register for the event at www.waukeechamber.com/registration.

3) Waukee Park Board Meeting

The Waukee Park Board will meet tonight at 6 p.m. at City Hall. The next meeting of the Park Board will be Thursday, Sept. 29.

4) Mosquito Spraying

Tonight the city will spray for mosquitoes. Spraying will commence tonight at 9 p.m. You are urged to contact City Hall if you have a medical condition and they will add your address to the 'Do Not Spray Area' list.

5) The Weather

Brrr! Count on patchy frost before 9 a.m. this morning. Otherwise sunny skies with a high near 61 today. Tonight, chilly and mostly cloudy with a low around 41.
