1) Waukee Farmers Market

Looking for some homegrown fruits and veggies, or maybe a nice handmade gift? Look no further than the Waukee Farmers Market today from 4 to 7 p.m. on the Triangle in downtown Waukee.

2) Waukee Public Library Activities

The offers activities for people of all ages. Today, beginning at 10:15 a.m., there's a pre-walkers (newborns to 18 mos.) activity that includes songs, books and rhymes. One child per caregiver, please.

Preschool storytime (ages 3-6) is also held at 10:15 a.m. today. Later this afternoon, the teen program participants will decoupage a notebook or photo album beginning at 3:30 p.m.

3) Show Your Spirit

5) Did You Know?

Did you know there's a museum in Waukee? The Manders Museum was added to the Waukee Public Library in 2009. It showcases items from Harold C. "Hal" Manders, a Waukee resident, who played professional baseball in the 1930s and 1940s.
