Looking for something to do this weekend? Here are a few suggestions for the weekend of March 2-4.

Friday: Girls Basketball State Tournament
The Waukee girls basketball team will face Iowa City West today at Wells Fargo Area at 12 p.m. in the Class 4A semifinal round of the Iowa State High School Girls Basketball Tournament.
This is the Waukee girls' fifth trip to the state tournament.

Friday, Saturday, Sunday: Kidsfest
Kidsfest is this weekend at the Iowa State Fairgrounds Varied Industries Building. Come by and visit the Patch booth and say, "hi." Hours are:

Friday: 6 - 9 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m.- 6 p.m.
Sunday: 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.
Cost is $7 per person (kids age 2 and under are free). Tickets are will be available at the door all weekend. You can find $2 off coupons at all Fareway stores and Veridian Credit Union locations through March 4.

Saturday: Waukee Legislative Coffee
Enjoy coffee, hear from local legislators and ask questions on Saturday morning in the Waukee City Council Chambers at . The coffee is scheduled from 9:30 to 11 a.m. State Senate Minority Leader Jerry Behn and State Representative Ralph Watts have been invited to speak. Coffee and donuts will be provided. There is no cost to attend. Please RSVP to www.waukeechamber.com/registration.
Saturday: Schade Creek Vineyard at Samples, Sips and ScholarshipsÂ
will be pouring tastings at Samples, Sips, and Scholarships Saturday from 7-10 p.m. at West End Architectural Salvage, 22 Ninth St., Des Moines.

Tina Haase Findlay will perform at on Saturday at 7 p.m.. Haase Findlay has been a staple on the Des Moines area music scene for more than 25 years. Her style takes from several musical genres - jazz, blues, rock, soul, gospel, commercial jingles, musical theatre, and beyond.
Single tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. Tickets are available by calling (515) 402-7870, at Waukee Hardware, or the night of the performance, if tickets are still available.
