Don't forget! Today is early dismissal for all Waukee Schools. Elementary schools will dismiss today at 1:40 p.m. Secondary schools dismiss at 12:50 p.m.

Looking for some fun for the kids today? Check out Playful Preschoolers at 10 a.m. at the . Playful Preschoolers is for children ages 3 to 6. It includes read-aloud stories, songs and rhymes followed by a craft.

Babies and Books also meets at 10 a.m. It's for pre-walkers (babies approximately birth to 18 mos.) with a caregiver. There will be songs, books and rhymes. Only one child per caregiver is recommended.

There will be a Teen Movie showing today at 1 p.m. The Library will be showing "Bruce Almighty."

4) Waukee Family YMCA Tip Night at Pizza Ranch

Stop out to the tonight from 5 to 8 p.m. to the Waukee Family YMCA playground project. All tips and a percentage of sales will go to building a handicap accessible playground at the . Stop in for a family friendly dinner together and help support the cause.

5) Tickets On Sale for Waukee High School's "Beauty and The Beast"

Tickets are on sale now for three performances of the Waukee Theatre Arts production of Disney's "Beauty and the Beast," April 13 & 14 at the auditorium. 

Tickets are $8 for students and $12 for adults at the door or $7 for students and $11 for adults when purchased in advance at http://www.seatyourself.biz/waukeetheatrearts.
