Iowans Choose Romney by 8 Votes; Here's How You Voted, Waukee

The people of Waukee spoke loud and clear in Tuesday night's Iowa Caucus: Mitt Romney was their man.

The sentiment was the same in Dallas County, overall, which also went for Romney by a nearly 2-1 margin over runnerup Rick Santorum.

According to the final numbers, 859 voters turned out in four Waukee precincts last night. The number of votes for each candidate is as follows:

Newt Gingrich - 109

Rick Perry - 96

Michele Bachmann - 22

Jon Hunstman - 5

In Dallas County, there were 4,257 votes cast.
