Jake Chapman Makes Bid for Iowa Senate Official

Jake Chapman, a Dallas County Republican, has officially filed papers for his run for the District 10 seat in the Iowa Senate.

Jake Chapman, a lifelong resident of Dallas County, made his Iowa Senate bid official by filing his affidavit of candidacy and nomination papers with the Iowa Secretary of State Matt Schultz.

“This is an exciting day for our campaign and for Republicans throughout the state. We are one step closer to winning Senate District 10 and one step closer to winning back the Senate,” stated Chapman.

Chapman is known for his efforts within the Republican Party - from managing campaigns to serving on the county GOP committee. He is also the founder and President of the Young Republicans of Dallas County.

Chapman is running for a newly re-districted state Senate seat in District 10.

District 10 includes Adair County, Guthrie County, the northeast corner of Cass County, Dallas County (excluding parts of Waukee, West Des Moines, and Clive), and Polk City in Polk County.
