You couldn't have asked for better weather for January.

No word yet on the high today but the gauge in my minivan read 63 degrees at 3 p.m. Unbelievable.

It shouldn't come as a surprise that folks were out in full force this afternoon enjoying the day.

Students at Brookview Elementary were outside at recess playing without coats, people walked their dogs on the bike path near Centennial Park and others made sure to bring their little ones out of hiding to burn burn off some energy on the playgrounds in and around Waukee.
