Leonard Boswell Endorses Desmund Adams for Iowa Senate

Iowa Congressman Leonard Boswell gave his enthusiastic endorsement and support to Desmund Adams , Democratic Candidate for Iowa State Senate District 22 (Clive, Waukee, West Des Moines & Windsor Heights ).  Last weekend at a public event held at the West Des Moines Public Library, Congressman Boswell said, “I see, in Desmund Adams , a bright, fresh, engaged and articulate public servant who will bring substance and reasoned dialogue to the Iowa State Senate.  I’m here today to urge you to support Desmund in this race and I pledge to you my efforts in his election at this very critical time for our state.” 

With a personal story of going from a high school dropout to receiving a law degree from Drake University , Adams has captured the attention of voters in District 22 with his refreshing ideas regarding women-owned businesses, education, job creation and equal rights for all Iowa citizens.  Congressman Boswell's endorsement is the latest in a growing number of positive reactions to his candidacy. 

Over the weekend, Congressman Boswell was also the special guest of Desmund Adams at the Zeta Kappa Lambda Educational Foundation Black & Gold Ball. Attended by over 350 individuals, this foundation’s banquet program featured a commitment to developing educational and leadership opportunities to students from Iowa .  Adam's leadership in this organization solidified Boswell's endorsement.
