Michele Bachmann Launches '99 Counties' Ad Campaign
Michele Bachmann, who's in the middle of a 10-day tour of Iowa's 99 counties, has launched an advertising campaign that comes straight from the people.
Republican presidential hopeful Michele Bachmann is working her way through Iowa's 99 counties with the message that the people have spoken — and they want her for president.
Still in the thick of the bus tour across the state, Bachmann's camp announced that it would launch a television, radio and online advertising campaign that includes the voices of actual voters in Iowa this week.
Titled "Voices from Michele Bachmann's 99 County Tour," the two-part television campaign features voters at stops on the tour talking about why they want Bachmann for president.

- Another voter says, "She says she's not a politician, I like to hear that."
- "I think Michele would be the best at clamping down on the budget," says another.
- "We're behind her 100 percent," concludes one woman.
Even Bachmann's daughter, Sophia, gets in a plug for her mom, saying, "It's cool that she's my mom, of course, and I'm going to be voting in this election for the first time, so one more vote mom, you're welcome."
The two ads will run this week statewide prior to the Jan. 3 Iowa Caucus.Â
