Parents Talk: Is There Such a Thing as Too Many Kids?

It's a rare sight - certainly not the norm - but Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar of Tontitown, Ark. have 19 biological children. Last week, it was reported that Michelle Duggar suffered a miscarriage of what would have been the couple's 20th child.

The question this week is, is there such a thing as too many kids? Nineteen is certainly not an average number but can or should we put a number on how many children a couple should bear? Why? How do you determine when you're ready or able to support more children? Is it a money issue? How much support you'll have in caring for your children?
