Parents Talk: Kids Say The Darndest Things. What Do Yours Say?

When they aren't fighting about a stolen toy or screaming because they don't like the shirt I picked out, my kids can say some really cute things.

I especially love that 3-to-4 year age when they can finally put words to what they're thinking and it actually makes sense. Well, it doesn't always make sense but you can pretty much get the gist.

Like the other day, I was telling a friend about a conversation I had with my son at Christmas. He and I were talking about the true meaning of the season when I said, "It's the day Jesus was born," to which my son repeated, "Yeah, that's the day Jesus was boring."

Then, there's my 5 year-old, who is says she absolutely loves "whoop" cream and my 3 year-old could easily eat an entire container of "Thomas" on her pretzels (that's hummus, in kid speak.)
